On this past week’s episode of Game of Thrones, we finally learned what happened to Hot Pie, the reformed bully who found his true calling as a baker and whom we last saw in season four. As fate would have it, Ben Hawkey, the actor who plays Hot Pie, has been busy in the kitchen as well.
The seventh season of Game of Thrones is truly underway. However, unlike the premiere, the second episode failed to feature the White Walkers, the ominous army of the undead marching towards the living. Since that opening episode, eagle eyed viewer have spotted something very interesting in the opening credits sequence; a minor change that could reveal a key plot point to come.
HBO added another winkle to the Hound scene when it uploaded a recap of the episode to its official site. In their write-up, the Hound’s speech had an additional line. Could this line indicate how exactly the dead are “marching past” Eastwatch?
The episode drew 16.1 million total viewers, including 10.1 million who watched on the linear channel and the rest coming from DVR and streaming. That represents an incredible 50% increase from last year’s premiere, when the show premiered in the spring when TV viewership is typically higher than the summer.
Ahead of Game of Thrones‘ Season 7 premiere, Jimmy Kimmel unveiled Harington’s never-before-seen “audition tape” on Monday’s episode of Live. And judging by its contents, Harington’s eventual casting on the HBO drama was nothing short of a miracle. In the video , Harington tries his hand at a number of Thrones roles, including Cersei Lannister, Arya Stark, Hodor, a White Walker and Ygritte.
BBH London launched a new spot for KFC U.K. and Ireland starring Kristian Nairn, who plays the character Hodor on HBO’s Game of Thrones. The spot depicts Nairn as a KFC employee faced with an unrelenting throng of customers hungry for chicken and fries.
HBO has at last released the titles and details of the first three episodes of Game of Thrones season 7. As usual, the language is cryptic but also very intriguing — and raises a bunch of questions. Here they are:

Euron Greyjoy, Theon’s power-mad uncle, is going to cause some real trouble in Game of Thrones season 7, and he’s getting a new look in the process. “He’s much more just f—ing enjoying himself this season,” says actor Pilou Asbaek.
The actress told the U.K.’s Sunday Times that the massive HBO hit was her “sex education.” “I’d be doing a read-through and we’d be talking about very graphic stuff,” she said in the new interview. “The first time I ever found out about oral sex was from reading the script. I was like … ‘Wow! People do that? That’s fascinating!’”
